The head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, has discussed governance and transparency issues with US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland and US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Jeremy Berndt.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, was attended by directors of specialized departments from the Audit Bureau and members of the US Embassy.
According to a statement on the Audit Bureau’s Facebook page, the discussion focused on ways to support the Audit Bureau’s independence and enhance mutual cooperation, including collaboration with US oversight institutions through the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), aiming to improve the Audit Bureau’s regulatory performance.
