US Special Envoy to Libya Ambassador Richard Norland and head of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, have convened recently in Tunisia.
The US Embassy in Libya reported on "X", citing Ambassador Norland, that they highlighted during the meeting the importance of transparency and accountability in Libya's public finances and the Audit Bureau's vital role in financial oversight and combatting corruption.
"We look forward to our continued partnership on these topics," the ambassador stated.
