Akakus Oil Company announced in a statement on Sunday that production in the Libyan Sharara oil field reached 274,365 barrels per day (bpd).
This came a week after the National Oil Corporation announced that its production of crude oil and condensates reached 1.3 million bpd after production returned to levels before the Central Bank crisis in the country.
Libya’s production reached about 1.2 million bpd before production in the fields stopped by the parallel government decision in late August.
