A source from Sharara oil field said that they are expecting resumption of production during the next two days.
The source confirmed that the improved security situation in the field has prompted the field administration to call on foreign employees of European and Asian nationalities to return to their workplaces.
A plane will leave on Wednesday to bring back the foreign workers, he added.
Earlier, an adverse security assessment led to the evacuation of 16 foreign workers from the field on August 31.
