One person was killed and three others were wounded by gunfire targeting a security checkpoint west of Sabratha.
The security department of Sabratha said that the checkpoint, which was fired upon with live bullets, is a joint checkpoint located at a roundabout near the Tawila area, west of the city.
The police said that gunmen traveled in a car and opened fire towards the checkpoint, then sped away killing one police officer and wounding three others.
