A delegation representing the High Council of State (HCS) conducted a visit to Palestine's Embassy in Tripoli on Thursday to show support for the Palestinian people who are facing a heinous attack by the Israeli forces amid the disappointing silence of the international community.
The Council's media office said the visit comes within the framework of supporting the Palestinian people and denouncing "the genocide and ethnic cleansing" that the population of Gaza is experiencing.
The Second Deputy HCS Chairman, Omar Al-Obaidi, who headed the Concil's delegation, underscored the Libyans' rock-solid support for their brothers in Palestine at all levels until they regain their rights and establish their independent state.
The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has topped 11,000 as the crisis enters its second month.
