The Sirte Oil and Gas Company has completed drilling the development well “E120” in contractual area 20 in the Al-Raquba field.
The new well comes within the first phase of development drilling at a depth of 5,400 feet based on the results of recently completed reservoir studies in the field, according to the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Facebook page.
It pointed out that the evaluations conducted at the well on Friday showed promising results with a natural flow rate of 900 barrels of oil per day, adding that these developments are in line with the company’s goal to increase its production of crude oil as an essential component of its long-term strategy in the field of energy, within the NOC plan to increase production of oil and gas.
