The residents of the city of Sirte called on the government of the Presidential Council and the General Electricity Company to complete suspended projects related to electric power, including the Gulf Power Plant.

The residents of Sirte said in a statement issued on Thursday that they are dissatisfied with the continuation of electricity blackouts, which reach 12 hours a day.

The statement also called on the General Electricity Company to reduce the load shedding and supply the city and its suburbs with electricity from the Gulf Power Plant.
