Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala, arrived in Cairo on Sunday to participate in the Arab League foreign ministers meeting.

Libya's Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that Siyala will take part in the extraordinary session of the Arab League at the level of foreign ministers, which will kick off on Monday.

The foreign ministers of member states will gather to share insights on how to approach the most pressing issues in the Arab political arena and discuss the national security concerns.

One of the thorniest issues on the table will be the Palestinian cause and means to adjust to the ongoing developments in this critical file.

The meeting in Cairo comes at the invitation of Jordan and Egypt to discuss developments in the region, and to emphasize Arab constants on the Palestinian issue.
