Director of the Law Department at the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has sent a response to the Head of the National Audit Bureau (NAB) request for a legal opinion regarding which of the two has the competence to audit and enforce accompanying control; The National Audit Bureau or the Administrative Control Authority (ACA).

Director of SJC’s Law Department stated that the NAB has the exclusive competence of financial auditing and enforcing accompanying control, and that the competence of ACA is limited to some measures related to financial breaches and crimes.
