Minister of Social Affairs Wafaa Al-Kilani met with Haifa Abu-Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League for Social Affairs, to explore cooperation in supporting policies that strengthen Arab families and develop social empowerment mechanisms aligned with regional and global goals.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family conference, held in Doha on Sunday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Social Affairs on its official Facebook page.
Al-Kilani also met with Daisy, President of the World Family Organization, and the family ministers from Kuwait and Rwanda. Discussions focused on exchanging expertise and enhancing joint efforts to develop family policies and support strategies that promote family stability and its essential role in social and economic development.
The meetings aim to strengthen cooperation with organizations dedicated to family welfare, facilitating the exchange of expertise and international coordination to address challenges facing families globally, according to the Ministry.
