South Korea's ambassador to Libya, Choi Sung-Soo, confirmed the readiness of Korean companies to resume their work in Libya, after the completion of the security arrangements currently underway.

This assertion came during a meeting between the Korean ambassador on Tuesday evening with the deputy head of the Presidential Council (PC) Ahmed Maiteeq.

The two sides touched upon the issue of the abducted Korean citizen working in the Man-made River System who was kidnapped last July along with three other Filipino technicians, according to the Information Office of the PC.
