Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Yusuf has announced Sudan's intention to open a new Consulate General in Libya to provide services to Sudanese nationals residing in the country.
The announcement was made during a phone conversation with Taher Al-Baour, the acting head of Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, according to the Libyan ministry.
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening ties between the two countries. Minister Yusuf expressed appreciation for Libya's hospitality and its efforts to accommodate Sudanese nationals, including integrating Sudanese students into Libyan schools and universities without fees.
Both sides pledged to continue consultations and coordination to promote mutual relations and cooperation in various fields.
