The Sudanese ambassador to Libya, Ibrahim Mohamed, has discussed with the head of Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, the situation in Sudan, coordination of efforts between the two countries, and the role of GNU in providing humanitarian support to the Sudanese people in all fields.
Dbeibah reaffirmed Libya's support for Jeddah talks between the two parties to the conflict in Sudan, to work with brotherly and friendly countries for stability of Sudan, and to provide necessary support of food and medicine to the Sudanese people.
The Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Haddad, who attended the meeting, stressed the coordination of military efforts to follow up the Libyan-Sudanese borders and ensure stability of the region in such circumstances.
