The Supreme Council of Libyan Amazigh said on Saturday that the country is suffering from a lack of responsibility and a rush to control the country's resources for personal gain, explaining in a statement that there is "a rush to control the Hamada oil field, which shows the blatant recklessness and disregard for the country."
The statement stressed that the field belongs to all Libyans in the east, south and west, and it must be managed for the benefit of the country. It warned of the seriousness of the situation that will only lead the country to exacerbate and complicate crises in light of the waste of public money and the country's resources.
It called on the international community to open the way for the UN mission and to sponsor a real solution for Libya and not a superficial solution as in the past, pointing out that it is unfortunate that the UN mission takes into account international balances and agreements more than the interests of the Libyan people, which has increased division and corruption in the country.
