Security Working Group (SWG) emanated from the Berlin Process has discussed steps that could be taken to support Libyan efforts to unify security and military institutions, build confidence, and enhance respect for the ceasefire agreement.
This came during a meeting held on Thursday in the presence of the Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, along with the co-chairs from France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, and the African Union.
Koury said, in a post on her X platform page, that the meeting explored ways to support Libyan security institutions and stakeholders in achieving lasting peace and stability.
