President of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, addressed a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), responding to the latter's comments about the Council's lack of authority to object to the Parliament's decisions.
In his letter, Takala reiterated the HCS's rejection of any legislation from HoR that does not involve consultations with the Council.
He further called on the government and regional parties not to recognize any legislation that does not meet the proper conditions of issuance as validated by the Council, underscoring that any decisions from the HoR remain ineffective unless the HCS confirms their validity.
