Mohamed Takala, Head of the High Council of State (HCS), said that Libya's flood disaster is beyond the country’s capabilities during a meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Libya, Gabriel Papp, on Sunday.
Takala gave the Hungarian official a comprehensive view of the situation and conditions in the flood-affected areas as he urged international support to help Libya in the post-storm reconstruction process.
The charge d'affaires, for his part, offered his condolences for the storm victims, which caused massive loss of life and property.
The two sides also reviewed political developments in Libya, besides bilateral relations and issues of common interest.
