The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, on Thursday held talks with the Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Rabat.

The meeting, which included members of the HCS, Shukri Al-Maghribi, and Muhammad Abdel-Aali, focused on the elections track and solutions to the political deadlock by the outcomes of the Abu Znika Agreement.

A statement by the HCS media office said the parties also reviewed bilateral relations between the two nations and ways to enhance them in various fields.

In a press conference following the meeting, Takala praised the Moroccan leadership for its efforts towards bridging the gap between the Libyan parties and its previous role in hosting Libyan dialogues.
