The new head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takkala, has confirmed during a phone call with the US envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, the HCS readiness to work with all Libyan institutions, without exception, in order to achieve political, economic and security stability in Libya.
Norland congratulated Takkala on assuming his duties, praising the electoral process that took place in a democratic atmosphere of high integrity, which consolidates a promising democratic future in Libya, according to the HCS media office.
Takkala affirmed the HCS determination to play its effective role in laying the foundations for the concept of peaceful transfer of power, leading to achieving the aspiration of all Libyans to hold presidential and parliamentary elections preceded by the process of unifying all state institutions, which comes along the lines of a comprehensive reconciliation between the Libyan people.
