The Council of Elders of Tarhouna stated on Sunday that an agreement was reached between Tarhouna and Garabulli on the withdrawal of the Joint Security Room forces, known as Kani Brigade, from the administrative boundaries of Garabulli.
The Chairman of Council, Saleh Alfandi, clarified that the participants in the meeting also concluded that every effort had to be made to solve the contentious issues between the two municipalities through dialogue.
Al-Fandi added that the parties concerned will issue a statement within three days over the need to secure the roads in the region and to activate the role of police and security forces.
