The United Nations' top envoy to Libya, Hanna Tetteh, has met with South Korean Ambassador Ji-hak Jang to discuss the country’s current political landscape and the importance of international support in unifying its institutions.
According to a statement posted by the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Facebook, the two officials exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to consolidate state institutions and foster stability.
Tetteh expressed appreciation for South Korea’s continued backing of UNSMIL’s work, highlighting the significance of Seoul’s role as a current member of the UN Security Council.
