Three people were killed and two others injured, Thursday, in a traffic accident on the coastal road west of Ben Jawad (140) kilometers east of Sirte.
The Sirte Security Directorate said that a direct collision accident occurred on the coastal road west of Ben Jawad between three vehicles, which resulted in the death of the driver of one of the vehicles and two of his companions, while the drivers of the other two vehicles survived after sustaining varying injuries.
The Ben Jawad Traffic and Licensing Unit explained that the accident occurred as a result of excessive speed and wrong overtaking, which resulted in a direct collision between the vehicles and the outbreak of fire.
