Libya-Italy

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa, has stated that the current volume of trade between Italy and Libya, equal to about 9 billion euros per year, constitutes a solid basis on which to build, according to the Italian Nova news agency.

Jumaa added that new key agreements are expected to be signed with Italy during the Libyan-Italian Business Forum scheduled to be held on October 28 in Tripoli.

He confirmed the resumption of commercial flights by the Italian airline ITA soon between Tripoli and Rome, with the aim to increase the frequency of direct flights between the two countries, including other airports outside the capital.
