A tragic accident on the Ajdabiya-Awjala Road led to two cars colliding and burning near Gate 60, south of the city of Ajdabiya.
According to eyewitnesses, citizens were unable to save the passengers of the two cars, as six people died, including a family of four people.
Libya ranks first in the world in the rate of traffic accident deaths, according to the International Road Federation, where the death rate in Libya reached 73 deaths per 100,000 people, compared to the global standard of only 20 deaths per 100,000 people.
