The heads of Libya’s House of Representatives (HCS), High Council of State (HCS), and Presidential Council (PC) will convene for a tripartite meeting in Cairo, Egypt, in mid-July, according to a source from the HCS.

Initially rumoured to be held in Morocco, the High Council of State confirmed the meeting’s location and date during their last session.

Earlier, the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported, citing its sources, that the meeting is scheduled for July 15 at the Arab League in Cairo.

The first such meeting between the three councils took place in Cairo on March 10 under the auspices of the Arab League.
