Minister of Economy, Ali al-Issawi said that the fragile economic gains achieved in the past period have been aborted by the unjust military aggression launched by Haftar onTripoli and the western region.

In an interview with Euronews, Issawi said the offensive had halted the economic reform program and created a dangerous environment for a long resource war, which could lead to an economic desolation.

He also stressed that the aggression caused significant material losses and put additional pressure on the Libyan budget, as well as the disruption of the supply routes.
