Tripoli is hosting the activities of the Libyan-Tunisian joint customs technical committee, according to a statement by the Libyan Customs Authority on its Facebook page.
On Sunday, the Acting Director General of the Libyan Customs Authority received his Tunisian counterpart and his accompanying delegation at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, in the presence of several Libyan customs officials.
The Authority added that a welcoming meeting was held for the Tunisian delegation, during which the Director of the Libyan Customs Authority expressed his pleasure at the visit.
He also voiced his hope that it would contribute to strengthening customs cooperation between the two countries, support joint efforts, and enhance customs performance at both the bilateral and regional levels.
