The Director General of Tripoli Medical Center, Nabil Al-Ajili, said that the center is about to hire 850 nurses from the Philippines to work within the multiple sections of the center, which suffers from lack of specialized nursing.

In a statement to Libya Business TV, Al-Ajili added that an agreement reached with the Philippine ambassador in Libya to solve the money transfer problem of 100 Filipino nurses who have been working for the center since 2014 before the arrival of the new nurses.

Several Filipino nurses have left Libya due to the country’s security and financial problems.
