The Chief of Tripoli Security, Brigadier Osama Owaidan, held a security meeting on Monday, at the Tripoli Security Directorate HQ with the heads of police stations.

The meeting, dedicated to reviewing the security situation in the capital, stressed on the importance of adhering to procedural and penal laws in cases of arrest warrants and detention, according to the Public Relations Office of the directorate.

For his part, the director of Tripoli Security called on security officials to assume national responsibility when exercising their responsibility to establish law and order.

The meeting is part of a series of meetings conducted by the Tripoli Security Directorate to follow up on the security plan set by the Interior Ministry.
