Tripoli Security Directorate warned residents of Wadi Al-Rabea area and Ain Zara south of Tripoli to exercise cautious of water heights and floods from Wadi Kaam.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the directorate encouraged residents of Wadi Al Rabea to stay "weather aware," and to use caution near areas of flowing water.

It also asked citizens to cooperate in full with the Red Crescent and the rescue teams and follow the instructions given.

Most Libyan cities are experiencing volatile weather, heavy rain and low temperatures since Saturday evening, due to an atmospheric depression, which the National Meteorological Centre has previously warned of.
