Patrols from the Sabratha Security Directorate have seized several trucks equipped with additional fuel tanks used for smuggling.
This action was taken as part of enhanced security checkpoints on public roads within the Sabratha municipality, according to a statement by the directorate on its Facebook page on Sunday.
The directorate justified the decision to impound the trucks at the Sabratha Traffic Department yard due to significant modifications made to them, adding that all legal measures have been taken.
