The Tunisian embassy in Libya has advised members of the Tunisian community in the capital, Tripoli, and its suburbs, to be cautious, avoid areas of clashes and to avoid movement.

‘This comes in light of the continuing armed clashes, intense shooting and the fall of shells in various areas of the capital since the early hours of Saturday morning,’ it added.

The embassy expressed its wishes for safety for all, calling on its citizens to call the Consulate General, which operates 24 hours a day, in order to communicate with the embassy mission and inform on any emergency.
