Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui reiterated his country's stand in support of a peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis under the auspices of the United Nations.

During his meeting with the envoy of the Libyan Foreign Minister, Maatouq Bouraoui, Jhinaoui stressed the importance of supporting consultation and coordination between the two countries at the 30th session of the upcoming Arab summit to be hosted by Tunisia on the 31st of March next.

He also emphasized the need to prepare for the upcoming bilateral benefits, especially the Tunisian-Libyan High Joint Committee, and support various mechanisms of bilateral cooperation so as to develop the legal framework governing the relations between the two countries, according to the official website of the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
