Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi reaffirmed his country's categorical rejection of the attack launched on Tripoli.

In a telephone conversation with the Presidential Council's head (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, President Essebsi discussed the repercussions of the aggression against Tripoli, saying that it would destabilize Libya and pose a threat to the lives of innocent citizens.

He also called on Haftar's forces to immediately stop hostilities and return to their former positions.

For his part, Al-Sarraj thanked the Tunisian president and his country's position, emphasizing that the Libyan army will fight tooth and nail to repel this aggression against Tripoli.
