Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, have reaffirmed commitment to Libya's sovereignty, territorial integrity and national unity.

This came during the two leaders’ meeting on Friday in the Russian city of Sochi, where they renewed their support for the ongoing political process under the auspices of the United Nations and based on the leadership role of the Libyans.

The two presidents also stressed the importance of holding free, fair and credible elections, on the basis of the broadest possible consensus among Libyans.
