The Minister of Interior, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Guven Begic, the prospects for joint security cooperation and enhancing communication between the two countries.
This came during a meeting held in Tripoli on Monday, during which the two sides discussed a number of issues related to security and stability in Libya.
Al-Trabelsi stressed the importance of strengthening training and equipping programs for Libyan police personnel, praising Turkey's continued support in this field.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed his country's commitment to supporting Libya in building its security institutions, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two countries in facing common challenges.
