The Turkish Presidency denied, according to Sputnik news agency, Wednesday that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is going to visit Libya's capital, Tripoli, on Friday.

Pro-Haftar and UAE-funded 218 TV Channel said earlier that Erdogan would visit Tripoli for the first time since 2011 on next Friday, reporting its exclusive sources.

Two months ago, the Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah said Erdogan would visit Tripoli in October to attend the second meeting for the Libyan-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council.
