Turkish ambassador to Tunisia has denied claims by warlord Khalifa Haftar’s militia outlets regarding “Turkey's transfer of terrorist fighters from Syria to Libya.”

The Turkish ambassador told the Tunisian Agence Tunis Afrique Presse that his country is among the countries fighting in the frontlines in the war against ISIS.

Pro-Haftar media outlets have been spreading false news concerning the transfer of extremist fighters from Syria to Libya by the Turkish government, in an attempt to justify the failure of Haftar's forces on the ground, who have failed to control Tripoli, in addition to the resounding defeat they received in Gharyan last June.
