Mitiga Military Hospital, which is supervised by the Libyan Task Force Command of the Turkish Armed Forces, has served more than 30,000 people during two and a half years, in addition to performing 385 surgeries, the chief physician at the hospital, Colonel Hasret Topach, said to the Turkish Anadolu Agency,

The administrative director of the hospital, Ufuk Altynsoy, added in a statement to the same agency, that the hospital includes 22 patient rooms, two operating rooms, three intensive care units, and two laboratories.

The hospital was established under the Memorandum of Understanding on Security and Military Cooperation signed by the governments of Turkey and Libya on November 27, 2019.
