Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Yildiz has confirmed the readiness of Turkish companies to take part in the reconstruction of Derna.
Yildiz made his remarks at a meeting with Libya's Central Bank governor (CBL) in Tripoli on Sunday.
The meeting included the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kanan Yilmaz, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Huseyin Barbaros Dişli, the Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alper Aktas, and Mehmet Bayatli, the Third Secretary.
A statement by the bank on Facebook said that Seddek Elkaber, the CBL Governor, briefed the Turkish officials on the bank's role in maintaining the sustainability of the state.
He highlighted the bank's efforts in promoting the role of the private sector and moving the wheel of the economy, especially at the current stage.
