The Turkish Presidency said in a statement that the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his American counterpart, Donald Trump, have agreed to work closely as allies to achieve lasting stability in Libya.

During a phone call on Tuesday, the two leaders discussed a number of regional issues, most notably, the Libyan file and relations between Turkey and America. They also agreed, to raise the degree of trade exchange between both countries to 100 billion dollars.
