The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has established a center to provide sewing and embroidery courses, besides other training activities for women who lost their relatives in wars.

The center was opened in cooperation with a local association in Misrata, with the participation of Turkish and Libyan officials, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.

The Turkish Agency provided supplies such as sewing and embroidery machines, steam irons, and tables, in addition to furniture, computers, and children's games for the nursery school at the centre.
