The spokesman for Afriqiyah Airways Omran Zabadi confirmed the arrival of two aircrafts, which were leased to a company in Lithuania, to Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli.

Zabadi clarified that the two planes were operated for years by the European company "Small Planet" based in the Republic of Lithuania, noting that the planes will be registered again in the Libyan civil aviation system.

The two Airbus 320 aircraft will undergo routine tests in preparation for entry to service, Zabadi noted, adding that the step would raise the standard of the airline's efficiency and enhance the company's reputation.
