Two brothers have died from injuries they sustained in a landmine explosion in Talhia area of Benghazi on Thursday, the National Commission for Human Rights in Libya reported.

The commission explained that the two brothers, Youssef and Abdul Rahman Al-Jazawi, died in Al-Jalaa Hospital, expressing its condemnation of such incidents that claimed the lives of civilians, calling on the competent authorities to warn the displaced citizens not to return to their homes until making a technical survey and mine-clearance tasks.

It warned that war remnants are still widely present in a number of cities and regions, such as Benghazi, Sirte, Derna, Tawergha, Warshafana, Bani Walid, and in areas south and southwest of Tripoli.
