The Tajoura Maritime office called on all citizens on Thursday, not to swim over these present days, following the death of two people who drowned, whilst three others were rescued.

The office solemnly warned citizens not to swim, particularly these days, due to severe turbulence in the sea currents, along with unexpected whirlpools which may cause holidaymakers to get into trouble whilst swimming, possibly causing loss of life.

The office announced earlier that the bodies of two individuals, one from Surmam and another from Abu Salim, were retrieved from the sea, in addition to the rescue of three others.
