Sources from Ubari Gas Station confirmed that operational tests conducted by the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) on the station, are almost finished.

"The main gas feeding line of the station has been successfully tested and experiments are currently being intensified in the first and second units in preparation for the start of operations," an engineer of Ubari station told the Libyan news agency Saturday.

The output achievements of Ubary station was approximately 98% before it suspended work following the kidnapping of the foreign workers responsible for its operation.
