A plane carrying aid from the UK to Libya's flood-hit areas landed in Benghazi on Monday, the British Embassy in Libya has confirmed.
The embassy said the package of aid will provide life-saving assistance to those affected by "last week’s horrific floods."
According to the statement, the shipment includes water filters, portable solar lanterns, and emergency shelters.
The embassy praised the UN International Organization for Migration office in Libya and the Red Cross for their cooperation in delivering the relief supplies.
