The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Humanitarian Coordinator, Georgette Gagnon, has stated that the United Nations is committed to supporting the most vulnerable people in Libya and ensuring they are at the centre of the development agenda.

This came during the launching ceremony for the implementation of the United Nations Development Cooperation Framework 2023-2025, which aimed at advancing Libya’s peacebuilding and development priorities.

"The cooperation framework advances stability, prosperity and development for all people in Libya, which is something we hear from all Libyans in the country that they want, they need, and they deserve" Gagnon said, in a video on Twitter.
