The United Nations (UN) envoy to Libya, Hanna Tetteh, along with her deputy, Stephanie Koury, and the UN Resident Representative, Anis Chuma, discussed ongoing political developments and current challenges in Libya during a meeting with the European Union (EU) ambassador, Nicola Orlando.
According to a statement by the UN Support Mission in Libya, the meeting addressed ways in which the international community can support the Libyan people in their efforts to strengthen institutions and establish lasting peace and stability.
Tetteh expressed her gratitude to the EU for its continued support of the UN efforts in Libya, emphasizing her anticipation for ongoing cooperation to achieve peace, stability, and prosperity in the country.
